Purpose of This Blog

Welcome to my blog!!! My name is Lela Ali and I am a current student at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Moving from just an ordinary town to the city life is very exciting. I am enjoying life here in Charlotte and making lasting friendships. I am double majoring in political science and international studies with a minor in history. And yes, I am one of those politics nerds. Though I like to plan for the future, I believe everything happens for a reason. I am a very optimistic person who loves watching Madea movies and dancing to all kinds of music. I also have a firm belief in philanthropy and reaching out to my community. One of my main goals on my bucket list is to go on a Mission trip to a third world country. But enough about me....I created this blog for my English class. It definitely has been an interesting ride learning to blog, but I must say it got frustrating at times. I am not an expert at blogging, but I am trying to get there. The purpose of this blog is to see myself grow as a writer as well as a person. It is a way to release my inner-thoughts and feelings through writing. I won't get into much detail, but I welcome you to explore my writing.
